How 2% Started

As avid racers and sports enthusiasts, we experimented with topical sodium bicarbonate products and wanted a simpler, more consistent application experience. After eight formulation iterations, 2% was born.

Dozens of athletes evaluated product-experience characteristics such as application, texture, scent, and packaging. Those evaluations reflect individual experiences and do not establish a specific physiological or performance outcome.
